To recognize outstanding original contributions from student attendees, ISUPTW 2026 will continue to offer the Best Oral Award and the Best Poster Award. Additionally, the Lingxi Award is introduced to foster innovation at the intersection of Terahertz technology and AI. These awards celebrate excellent work authored by first-author students, with winners officially announced and honored during the conference.
BEST ORAL AWARD
Eligible candidates may apply for the award during the abstract submission process via the submission system. Based on the reviews of all these papers, the Award Committee will select the ISUPTW 2026 Best Student Paper Award finalists. The finalists will present their work to the Award Committee in person at a special session held during the conference.
BEST POSTER AWARD
Eligible candidates may apply for the award during the abstract submission process via the submission system. The candidates will present their work to the Committee in person at the poster session held during the conference.
LINGXI AWARD
Established by Prof. Xi-Cheng Zhang and Mrs. Wendy Zhang, the 2026 Lingxi Award aims to encourage doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers to innovate at the intersection of terahertz (THz) technology and AI. Winners (up to 10) will receive a pre-tax 5,000 RMB reward and a certificate, with results announced at ISUPTW 2026 in Hangzhou. Key encouraged directions include terahertz intelligent detection & imaging and AI-driven terahertz spectral data analysis. Applicants must have relevant academic foundations, and be willing to participate in related academic exchanges.
How to Apply:
1. Online Submission: Submit an abstract to ISUPTW 2026 via the conference submission system and select to participate in the Lingxi award.
2. Email Application: Send the application form and supporting documents (papers, patents, recommendation letters, etc.) to xczhangaward@learningconf.cn by March 31, 2026.
